The Lapping Dogs of Global Warming

With rare exceptions, scientists can marshal media attention on the climate change issue only by spouting the party line that man-made emissions are causing Earth to warm. That's the sort of stuff the press laps up like a starving dog.

One Senator, Sen. James Inhofe, stands alone unafraid to oppose the former Vice-President and a complicit media that advances the politically correct theory of global warming.(Click on Global Warming)

What the public needs -- and deserves -- is a credible voice to counter the sermons from Gore, on whose behalf cigarettes were distributed in 2000 to Milwaukee homeless people who were recruited by campaign volunteers to cast absentee ballots. Inhofe could be that voice.

The media and Mr. Gore have had ten years to incorrectly assert that there is a consensus on the reality of global warming. With media as Gore’s lapping dogs no one on the other side has been able to get the opposing word out until Senator Inhofe took up the charge.

Now let cooler heads prevail!
