Democrats tarnished homosexuals; Put them in danger!

Not only has the public image of gay men been tarnished by the over-promotion of the Foley scandal, but they have actually been put into physical danger. It's already starting with news items about teenage boys using online sites to lure gay men on dates to attack and rob them. What in the world are the Democrats thinking? We saw the beginning of this in that grotesque moment in the last presidential debates when John Kerry came out with that clearly prefab line identifying Mary Cheney as a lesbian. Since when does the Democratic Party use any gay issue in this coldblooded way as a token on the chessboard? You'd expect this stuff from right-wing ideologues, not progressives.

Nope I didn’t say that democrats tarnished the image of homosexuals. You would listen to me anyways, Camille Paglia did! Yeah she’s suggesting that Democrat threw homosexuals under the bus to gain control of the House and Senate! (Click on "in Danger")

She’s Liberal she’s a Democrat and she’s apparently a little too honest for the Democrats own good. Camille Paglia, a writer and a columnist for Salon magazine was recently asked for her views on the Mark Foley scandal and she had a lot of negative things to say but surprisingly her remarks were all directed at her own party the Democrats! She says:

The way the Democratic leadership was in clear collusion with the major media to push this story in the month before the midterm election seems to me to have been a big fat gift to Ann Coulter and the other conservative commentators who say the mainstream media are simply the lapdogs of the Democrats. Every time I turned on the news it was "Foley, Foley, Foley!" -- and in suspiciously similar language and repetitive talking points.

Ms. Paglia also pointed out that Democrats shot themselves in the foot with the Foley issue as well she added how repulsed she was by the Democrat’s manipulative use of a gay issue for political purposes.

Finally Paglia blames the Democrats for putting homosexuals at jeopardy and physical harm by politicizing this obvious homosexual historical tendency of sex with teenage boys she even attributes this to the Greeks!

Paglia believes that the Democrats have lost their way in their unscrupulous attempt to gain power in the upcoming November elections but with assessments such as hers I’m sure that Liberals will relegate Paglia to the Zell Miller and Joe Lieberman side of the Democrat party. The outside!
