It's Because He's Gay Stupid!

Why, why, why? Why didn’t Republican do anything about former Congressman Mark Foley’s attempts to hook-up with same-sex Congressional Pages?

I’ll give you three guesses and the first two don’t count. Democrats are on the attack against Republicans and all the while attempting to avoid the pink elephant in the room. (click on gay stupid)

When the last gavel falls and the last testimony is given we will all know what we all already know. Republicans did not scrutinize Congressman Mark Foley because they knew that he is gay. And Republicans, the news media and everyone who had information on Congressman Foley for years believed that what Foley did with his personal life was his business.

Was that wrong… yes! Was that bad judgment, yes! And was that politically correct, yes!

Yes to all of the above, but isn’t it interesting that what can be politically correct can also be wrong and demonstrate bad judgment!

DNC Chairman Howard Dean characterized this apparent scandal as a firestorm. Democrats in political races are using this apparent scandal against their Republican opponents. So what are the Republicans so guilty of?

Democrats are on a roll in the battle to control the public debate ahead of the election, when they must pick up 15 seats in the 435-member House of Representatives and six seats in the 100-member Senate to seize power.

Seizing power is why this so called scandal broke!

The Republicans knew that Congressman Foley was gay and they did not scrutinize his life style. That is also why the Democrats are calling for the resignation of Dennis Hastert.

In so many words this is a case of; you Republicans were too tolerant when you should have been intolerant! What?

You just can’t please the politically correct. But they are right! This whole scandal is really because Mark Foley is gay stupid! That’s what Democrats are really complaining about!

I think it’s high time everyone just admit it!
