The Valerie Plame Case Implodes

The reason that the Bush administration has not been rocked by proof that they outed Plame to get back at her husband Joseph Wilson IV for publicly disagreeing with the administration’s reason for going to war in Iraq is that they didn’t out Valerie Plame.

Lies it’s all been lies against the Bush administration. Richard Armitage was Robert Novak’s primary source for linking Valerie Plame to Joseph Wilson and the Justice Department knew about it within days and they’ve known it all along.

Richard Armitage was General Colin Powell’s second in command at the state department and within hours Armitage notified Powell who contacted William Howard Taft IV, the State Department's legal adviser, notified a senior Justice official that Armitage had information relevant to the case. The next day, a team of FBI agents and Justice Prosecutors investigating the leak questioned the deputy secretary. Armitage acknowledged that he had passed along to Novak information contained in a classified State Department memo: that Wilson's wife worked on weapons-of-mass-destruction issues at the CIA.

Did this information get out? No, for months on end the left has used this non-story to attempt to show that the Bush administration would stoop to anything to destroy any dissenter against the war. Main stream media hung this over the Bush Administration as the coming got cha story.

Joseph Wilson was allowed by the MSM to charge the administration with outing his wife without anyone asking for any proof of the fact. And all along the Justice Department knew who actually leaked the Plame information it was Richard Armitage.

Armitage was a member of a small anti-war wing within the administration. Along with his boss and good friend, Powell, he had deep misgivings about going to war. A barrel-chested Vietnam vet who had volunteered for combat, Armitage at times expressed disdain for Dick Cheney and other administration officials who advised the President.

However what is most important is that this occurrence brings to light is that there was a war within the government the CIA verses the Whitehouse concerning the war.

Thus all of the leaks that devastated the administrations war effort Abu Ghraib, and Guantanomo were CIA attempts to sabotage the administration because anti-Bush operatives in the CIA that wish for the Bush administration war efforts to fail.

Lewis Libby’s suit should be dropped and all involved in perpetrating this mutiny against the Bush administration’s efforts to protect America against terrorist and terrorism should be charged with treason and shot before a firing squad.
