When is a homosexual a pedophile? When Democrats can make political hay out of it silly!

Howard Dean called it a firestorm in referring to the former Congressman Mark Foley scandal and typically in a firestorm one is lead to ask what is fueling it.

That’s the problem with this so called scandal I don’t think that Liberals really want to go where this “firestorm” will lead because this discussion will inevitable lead to frank discussions of the fact that this was a known gay Congressman acting out a gay life-style in the halls of Congress.

Now I know that speaking frankly about this issue is offensive to those of you who wish to bifurcate on the issue of homosexuality and pedophilia but never-the-less if the upcoming hearings are going to answer the questions regarding why this happened, the fact that Foley is gay cannot be left out of the discussion.

The Mark Foley story is the story of a gay man using his political position and power to do what most gay men do. Mark Foley was trolling for sexual relations that is part and parcel of the gay life-style.

To attempt to obfuscate the issue and call it pedophilia is much like Nixon operatives being busted in the democratic Watergate complex and all of a sudden they became ex-Republican operatives no longer working for the President.

Liberals who are clamoring for heads to roll in this, so called, “Republicans aren’t protecting the children scandal” are setting a standard that is anti-homosexual, why would I say that?

Well think about it, the only way which this disgusting set of events could have been prevented is that Mark Foley would have had to be discriminated against because he’s gay.

Foley would have had to be monitored and limited and watched for the slightest provocation of any untoward act.

Yes there were indications that there might be something wrong but even the FBI when given some of the emails or IMs years ago said that there wasn’t enough evidence to go on.

Two or more Main stream Media Newspapers had information on Foley for years and they didn’t think that it even warranted a story.

So against all evidence Liberals are claiming that Republican should have discriminated against Foley inferring that had Democrats been in the same position they would have known better than to trust a gay man in such a sensitive position.

When it is all said and done I believe that some closet homophobes will be exposed. The irony is that they will be Liberal homophobes who are attempting to use pedophilia as a shield as they accuse Republicans of being too tolerant of a homosexual man.
